Fast Food Choices For Weight Loss

Sometimes you have no choice but to eat at a fast food restaurant. This should not have you throwing your weight loss goals out the window. Fast food chains have actually worked at adding some healthy choices to their menu. Your weight loss just depends on finding those healthy choices in a sea of fattening choices.

Arbys

  • Arbys might not be as prolific as Burger King or McDonald’s, but they do offer up a good amount of weight loss conscious menu choices. You won’t be consuming the roast beef slathered in fake waxy cheese though.
  • You can order up some roasted turkey sandwiches here. This is a nice change from all the chicken you are forced to endure at other places. There are also nice side salads and chicken salads for you to consume as well. The key to maintaining your weight loss goals is to avoid the fat laidened dressing and cheese add-ons.

Burger King

  • The King knows that you have weight loss goals to maintain. Burger King has your back during your emergency fast food needs.
  • The best option you have here is a side salad. There are almost no calories and no fat to be found here. Order two if you need a bit more food. Sorry, but burgers are really out of the equation here.

Chick-fil-a

Chick-fil-a makes some extremely tasty sandwiches. They even offer up a good variety of food for those who are maintaining weight loss ideals. You won’t find roast beef or burgers here.

Chick-fil-a offers up a few different chargrilled chicken sandwich options. There is even a chargrilled chicken salad that will help you fill your stomach. Skip the salad dressing to cut down on calories and fat.

Dunkin’ Donuts

  • You missed breakfast and need something quick and easy. Dunkin’ Donuts has you covered. Stay away from the donuts though. Dunkin’ Donuts does have other items for your weight loss consumption.
  • You can snag a reduced fat blue berry muffin with your coffee. Maybe you want a bit more substance with your coffee though. Dunkin’ Donuts does offer a variety of bagels that won’t hurt the calorie or fat bank.

McDonalds

  • The golden arches are quite possibly the easiest place to eat. McDonalds can be found at almost every town along your journey. What do you get though? McDonalds actually offers a decent amount of food that won’t hurt your current weight loss trend.
  • Try a fish sandwich. The breaded and fried fish contains less fat and calories than that quarter pounder you were thinking of. Go even healthier by removing the cheese and the tarter sauce.
  • Sometimes you just need a burger though. Instead of loading up on fat and calories from a Big Mac or Double Quarter Pounder, just get a simple burger. Even a normal cheeseburger is better for you. Skip the fries and milkshake here.

There are times that you just can’t help stopping for fast food. Now you are armed with knowledge to know that there are healthy choices. Choose these choices and eat with confidence that your weight loss journey is safe.
